Today is 9/11. I had a few conversations today about everything that has happened since that day seven years ago.
What has happened?
Our military forces have done, more or less, absolutely nothing but waste our time, money, and resources in a land halfway across the world...trying to infiltrate and eliminate the enemy.
Was I for this war? In the beginning. Why not anymore? Because we've pussyfooted and beat around the bush (no pun intended) for far too long. What did the Taliban and Al-Qaida do? THEY TOOK OUR PLANES AND CRASHED THEM.
They didnt mess around, they didnt (noticeably) stick their faces in and try to act big and bold and lay threats, they just CAME AND DID IT.
Now in the name of the silly game known as politics, we try to hold ourselves as someone higher, more moral, and better than the people who attack the innocent.
Morality? In war? Get real. YOU ARE STILL COMMITING MURDER WHETHER ITS DESERVED OR NOT. Innocent or guilty. You CANNOT apply the laws and the way of thinking that we have here in this nation to other countries...and even if you can, you definitely cannot when they refuse to abide by the "standards"
Get off your moral high horse. Our nations leaders have done nothing but a fucktard job of wasting TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS for people who dont even want us there. Money that could be spent helping to fix the problems of homelessness, poverty, education, and health care. And thats just the icing on the cake.
I've been watching the way our "leaders" have sold the propaganda and it makes me sick. I used to be an Obama supporter, but he doesnt hold the enthrallment for me anymore. And dont even get me started on McCain. The hypocrite who cannot read off a teleprompter, then criticizes Obama for not having any congressional experience...THEN NAMES SOMEONE WITH LESS EXPERIENCE AS HIS VICE PRESIDENTIAL RUNNING MATE.
SERIOUSLY?!
More to come on these topics....stay tuned.

A little introduction...
I will be examining the various ways in which we cast aside the truth in exchange for the ways we lock ourselves in our mind...a sequence we use to keep us alive. Or in the least, sane. But sanity is relative, and you may find me insane.
But.
I tell no lies. I tell no misleading thoughts. Take what I say with the grain of salt, like I anticipate you will.
But remember...Everything I say is said for a reason. And to ignore it would be highly inadvisable.
:)
